The last hour before the 14th.

I really hope emails start to arrive from midnight... even at the cost of not sleeping to wait the email But the number of applicants went down from last year isnt it. Its in 7500 or something for the European fellowship. I think its 30% lesser than last year but so has the funding amount decreased...

It seems that the support for applicants varies hugely depending on the host university and supervisor. Is there less overall funding for the call this time around which would result in a lower number of proposals being funded? If not, wouldn't the chance of getting funded be higher as there are less applications due to the time limit of being within 8 years after getting the PhD? Just trying to be h...
