Re: 2018 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2018)

Repeatedly? How many times have you asked? , :o  Come on guys, it is all upon your ncps, host or home institution. They all have results already. It's monday, call them all and they will give you results. All they have them except candidates. I got mine directly from host, and my girlfriend fro...

Re: 2018 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2018)

Ah, this is all very good ;-). I shall miss this. My potential mentor is so socially awkward that I don’t want to put him in the position of telling me it’s a rejection. Also applies to the admin of the research centre. True story.  That's pretty funny  I created a new thread in your...

Re: 2018 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2018)

Sweden offering opportunities - how? *seal of excellence Hi, yes NCP emailed me the same. I guess he’s not one of the ones to give out info sooner :D I haven’t asked host yet since most communication goes through my intended supervisor who is currently dealing with a death in the family. Figured I c...

Re: 2018 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2018)

I am an Associate professor at a good European uni on tenure track. MC IF is actually a bit of a step down for me because I would have to give up my tenured position and re-enter the job market after the fellowship. But yes, I want to conduct this research project this much :). Guys, How many of you...

Re: 2018 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2018)

The scores are final but the 3+ reviewers have to reach a consensus among each other on both the scores and the comments. If there are major discrepancies or disagreements the Rapporteur assigned to the application will step in and deal with it. The process is described in detail in the reviewer man...

Re: 2018 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2018)

For Chrome you need to add the Developer tool extension. Takes 5 seconds. Evaluation is definitely a clear rejection! Ranked are only guys above 70. Help -- can someone tell us how you are finding this information? Enquiring (slighly insane at this point) minds need to know. The simpl...

Re: 2018 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2018)

;))) Regarding gender aspects; I just noticed that in the application form I had to declare my *gender*. On the other hand, I had the option to declare the *sex* of my proposed supervisor. I believe the person responsible for the forms didn't consider gender aspects of the form carefully enough! ;)

Re: 2018 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2018)

In my opinion, there is only one way to interpret it, and that is, 'relevant' from the perspective of the researcher. How can the evaluator ASSESS something that's not in the proposal (=considered irrelevant by the researcher)? The evaluator may hypothetically be invited to consider the potential ge...

Re: 2018 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2018)

To put an end to the gender aspects discussion:

The manual for evaluators clearly states that they "must only assess the gender dimension if it is relevant to the proposed research."
