Re: 2018 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2018)

Yes!! I had stuff in tables and took it out after reading that (in applicants guide I'm sure) in 9 pts? I think I had read somewhere (in the guide to evaluators??) that tables are not to be used to include core text. and if they are, that they should be discarded? has anyone seen anything like that...

I literally used the table templates from the handbook. I guess it’ll suck if all 8 of my tables are out.
It will be, if font size is less than 9.
Font size was definitely 9! I made sure of that!

Re: 2018 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2018)

ah! if you put information in the tables that should be written in proper words and sentences, the evaluators would have been asked not to look at those tables! It is hard! I know that my potential host ended up making our margins really thin and playing with the font to make sure we stayed in 10 p...

Re: 2018 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2018)

Theres a lot of good conversation here about various aspects of the proposal, and yes it is right to state that it is a training fellowship, however I think that 'Excellence' is the key section. In other words, the research idea needs to be outstanding to get funded. My approach was to make the cas...

Re: 2018 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2018)

Yeah I put in number of citations as well...answer is not many citations. I also did something they probably won't like for the potential publications. I put the Q levels of the journals since I hate impact factors. My host said that was fine, but I'm sure they'll pick on me for that. :...

Re: 2018 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2018)

I think excellence will be the weakest. In 10 pages is impossible to cover all aspects of application in detail. Few winners checked it before submitting and my CV is quite good, as I have 13 first - coauthored papers in a good journals :-(. It is hard! I know that my potential host ended up making...

Don't you think this forum has been created just to run an alternative version of the Stanford experience? Most of us would have been unconsciously assigned as applicants while others simply manipulate us by disclosing different types of information to see how to interpret that information. A psych...
