I don’t know if this is true. For example if you were to start your project with a host institute based in the EU but were currently located in the US, the US would absolutely tax your income. I wouldn’t worry too much about that. I got an MSCA fellowship this year and there was almost 11 or 12 hours in between the 1st batch of people receiving their results and the last. She’s in the life sciences panel. Apparently given the circumstances with COVID-19 they are forgoing interviews and retained projects will be further evaluated by a panel if I understood correctly. My wife just got her email right now saying her project has been retained. No interviews this year for those who are through the 1st round.
