And do you know what percentage passes to the interview?
Yes, only 44 proposals this year at maximum. It should be about 22%. Then 40% of those invited to the interview should be funded, as a rough estimate.

Re: ERC Starting grant 2024

Yes, I think it will be around mid-March but I'm already impatient... It's my first attempt, I'm actually a philosophy major. This year they have put political and legal philosophy in SH2 First attempt for me too, and I am a philosopher of law (but mainly law major), my proposal is about AI and bio...

Re: ERC Starting grant 2024

Me too SH2 Wow, thank you for replying, it's so rare to meet people from SH2. This year we should be about 200 applicants overall, like in 2019. When do you think the results will come out? End of March? I wish they would tell us if our proposal was sent to the external reviewers, the anxiety is re...

Re: 2023 Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship(HE-MSCA-PF-2023)

Well, from my personal experience, last year my application only had 1 weakness in part 1, which was my limited track record. I had two babies since finishing my PhD but this was not considered as a valuable constraint by the evaluators (and I was the one giving birth and nursing said babies by the...

Re: 2023 Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship(HE-MSCA-PF-2023)

Reading through all the replies, I am wondering about productivity measurement. Is it just the number of publications or will the number and amount of previous grants, including grants for conference travel, conference presentations, awards/prizes, etc. be taken into account? Additionally, as such ...

Re: 2023 Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship(HE-MSCA-PF-2023)

Yeah, that makes sense. Since publication record is dependent on a lot of factors: country in which PhD was carried out, funding that was available, the field of study, career stage, personal circumstances, etc. I can only hope that reviewers are aware of all these constraints that ECRs deal with a...

Re: 2023 Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship(HE-MSCA-PF-2023)

Hello, I'm curious about when the reviewers start reviewing our proposals? Anyone know? Seems like a long process for all parties involved, particularly when considering their mid-Feb target decision date. Thanks. Definately this is not a long process in the grand scheme of things. I have been both...

How much do you feel typos and wrong citations will impact the evaluation of a project?
I found minor spelling typos and I got wrong the NAME of a professor I cited.
My successful proposal had a verb missing and a couple of other mistakes. Don't worry.
