Re: MSCA-IF awardees in 2019 and academics networking
My bar is blue too, with just the “paid” circle left empty. It’s been like that for 42 days though and the progress bar says 42/52. Anyone else know when the EC pays out? Hey guys, just to be 100% sure, my bar is gone full blue and just "paid" is missing, it says it will be payed before my starting ...

Re: MSCA grant management
I reckon you should contact your national contact point or the EC contact point for this kind of info? When is your start date? Hi all, I have a question regarding how the grant is managed. Specifically are the expenses need to be justified to the EC or to your host institute's purchasing norms? Is ...

Re: MSCA-IF awardees in 2019 and academics networking
I don’t know if this is true. For example if you were to start your project with a host institute based in the EU but were currently located in the US, the US would absolutely tax your income. If you live in California, you pay state tax in California regardless of where that money comes from for ex...

Re: MSCA-IF awardees in 2019 and academics networking
Hi all,
Has anyone’s project actually paid out yet? The “paid” point on my progress bar in the portal is still hollow and the line itself is still blue.
I hope you’re all keeping safe and staying sane.

Re: MSCA-IF awardees in 2019 and academics networking
Hi All, Just wondering if anyone has started their project yet or is planning on starting soon? If so, how is the lockdown affecting you? We are trying to organise our move from San Diego to Ireland but have come across an unusual problem. We aren’t able to sell any of the stuff in our apartment bec...

Re: ERS StG 2020
100%. The wording is pretty clear. The next step is basically another round of evaluation, but no interview. Are you sure about the canceling of the interviews? Because in twitter people seem to say that their projects go to the next step. Which implies that there is a next step... https://twitter.c...

Re: ERS StG 2020
I wouldn’t worry too much about that. I got an MSCA fellowship this year and there was almost 11 or 12 hours in between the 1st batch of people receiving their results and the last. At least you guys managed to keep cool heads in here. Go in and read the threads for the MSCA fellowships. It’s madnes...

Re: ERC StG 2020
She’s in the life sciences panel. Apparently given the circumstances with COVID-19 they are forgoing interviews and retained projects will be further evaluated by a panel if I understood correctly. Good luck to you all folks. And stay safe. Thank you for sharing the information and congratulations.....

Re: ERS StG 2020
My wife just got her email right now saying her project has been retained. No interviews this year for those who are through the 1st round.

Heading home to Dublin. I’m happy to take any questions about life in Ireland if anyone else who is moving there has any.
