For some reason I cannot get into the link that last year told us whether we are in evaluation, ranking etc. Has anyone else managed to access this? Tension is building, especially as waiting for another bid at the same time

Re: Marie Curie Individual Fellowship Forum

Indeed. Results might be announced later this year I guess.

Not for the moment... I think they are a bit delayed. Last year my proposal went from submission to evaluation on January the 9th. Then one day later to ranking...

Re: Marie Curie Individual Fellowship Forum

On this point: there should definitely be some sort of criteria (if there are not already). For example applying to MSCA and going over the 80 threshold (or maybe even 70). Another incentive would be increasing the evaluation fee in order to attract more talented and experienced researchers. If you ...

Re: Marie Curie Individual Fellowship Forum

This. I decided to apply for this funding 4 days before the deadline, and, in fact, knew little about MCSA before that. I've only been in academic for few years, after working in the non academic sector for 15 years. When I looked into this fellowship 3 things struck me: 1) That applications are not...

Re: Marie Curie Individual Fellowship Forum

For Global Fellowships, the cutoff should significantly decrease. The number of applications is slightly less (857 vs 900) but the budget increase is huge. It went up from 33 million to 45. So I am expecting the cutoff to be around 88-91. For European fellowships, I am not sure. Budget went up from ...

Re: Marie Curie Individual Fellowship Forum

For me this was the most objective part actually. I also tried to address the evaluator comments as well. But, I do not want to raise my hopes as these things usually go to different evaluators who might raise different issues. That's why we need luck! :) Speaking of sharing our previous experience ...

Re: Marie Curie Individual Fellowship Forum

I am over the frustration (hopefully). I have re-submitted the project and took into account all the criticisms. We will see how it goes. Again good luck to everyone! Science might seem to be the main thing. But it is. It is true that if the evaluators do not like your proposal they will make up shi...

Re: Marie Curie Individual Fellowship Forum

Science might seem to be the main thing. But it is. It is true that if the evaluators do not like your proposal they will make up shit to kill your scores. For example last year evaluators wrote that I did not specify the number of articles to be submitted as part of the project. While, in reality I...
