Re: 2020 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2020)
Having on the mind huge number of proposals, about 12000 compared to 9900 last year, the impact of luck will be definitely higher even a huge number of the high-quality proposals were submited.None last year had such an early status changed, I remember very well. Hi Dreamer! Every year, in Jan, we ...

Re: 2020 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2020)
Dear collegues, I have just submitted my proposal. Filling the administrative part, they asked me to flag if I had already submitted a similar proposal etc... I flagged "yes", so the form asked me to indicate the "number of contract". What are they referring to? The number of contract??? Thanks I p...

Re: 2020 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2020)
Hi everyone... I am submitting again the proposal with some changes. The format of documents (part B, B2) are always the same or we have to change something if compared with 2019?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: 2019 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2019)
This was my second attempt and I got 30 point lower than the previous one with slightly revised proposal! It is disappointing and discouraged me to apply again. It is ridiculous. My supervisor is one of the top scientist in the area and he actively engaged in writing. Actually the proposal is a par...

Re: 2019 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2019)
Was asleep and woke up and stupidly checked my email. Got rejected (ST-SOC) with 78% which is a 10% drop from last year. That means I don't even have a seal of excellence so it has all been for nothing. This is quite a blow and I don't really know how to go on from here. On to the comments (listing...

The right word to describe this action: a total lottery.
Stop.

Re: 2019 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2019)
I think you are right. I have also 10 years of postdoc experience with tens of papers and wrote a strong proposal, the best I have ever written. I have gotten excellent fellowships with less solid proposal but now it seems that I am too aged for the reviewers. It is shit to work in science. I see s...

Re: 2019 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2019)
But you cannot drop so much from reserve list first year to below 70% in the third/fourth year ... Same here. I feel your pain... I’m below 70% with my best application in three years. Oh yeah, you can. 92.6%, 76% and then 68.2% (from dreamer). Application -supposedly- improved over the years. So t...

Re: 2019 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2019)
I don’t understand how it works. My proposal was much better than that of last year, yet I got a lower score!! Thanks Dreamer for replying me. The same for me, I am really shoked, a lower score than last years with an improved and revised project... my question is about the choice ok key words for ...
