Re: Marie Curie Individual Fellowship Forum

The emails go out overnight (my rejection came in at 1.30am on the 27th last year) so I doubt it will be tomorrow if there is maintenance in the morning. However the maintenance could mean they're getting prepared for next week. It seems then that they queue the emails because of the huge number th...

Re: Marie Curie Individual Fellowship Forum

For reference, here are the notification dates for the last two calls I remember:
MSCA-IF-2015 was notified on January 22
MSCA-IF-2016 was notified on January 27

Fingers crossed :)

Re: Marie Curie Individual Fellowship Forum

What about the field "canDeclineSignGA"? If you can refuse to sign a grant agreement then wouldn't that mean that you are being offered the fellowship?

On mine, I have RANKING, and that canDeclineSignGA field is true, and the contact field is empty.

Re: Marie Curie Individual Fellowship Forum

That's the official announcement date - meaning that this is the date by which the European Commission commits to giving out results. But historically, as has been said, they give them out a few weeks earlier. So that's just the latest date. :)

Re: Marie Curie Individual Fellowship Forum

My friend went from 88 to 64 in her second application. Pretty unexpected but it can happen... Wow that's one huge jump. Especially at 88, they must have been pretty disappointed. I think an issue is that each time it's new people looking at your application - it's hard to write for every possible ...

Re: Marie Curie Individual Fellowship Forum

I found the guide for the ethics experts that explains the process:
https://ec.europa.eu/info/sites/info/fi ... 2017_2.pdf.

It does say that ethics reviews are conducted for "proposals likely to be funded", so maybe danGFSOC is right.

Re: Marie Curie Individual Fellowship Template

Hi All, recently I realized I didnot really follow the template for my proposal. I thought the template is set for evaluation and didnot follow the order of three sections. The host didnot point out the problem for me either. Would that affect my fate for being evaluated fairly? I know I probably h...

Re: Marie Curie Individual Fellowship Forum

Happy new year everybody! Best wishes for the new year and fingers crossed for MSCA! :D @Amar: They send out notifications by email when the results are available online. @Aberfeldy: Cool! Hopefully that's a good sign! The funding rates per fellowship actually differ a lot on each panel, but it's ge...

Re: Marie Curie Individual Fellowship Forum

Does anyone know how the budget on this is set?
Do they set the budget proportionally to the number of submissions? Or is the budget set in advance?
For example, there are less GF applicants this year, so is there a lower budget? Or is the budget the same?
