No, I am in the Reintegration panel ... if it was standard European, I would have been in engineering I guessbyo001 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 8:56 pmMe too. are you in life science?mArkangjel wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 8:54 pmI am terrified to ask... It seems so far that everyone who got it, got their status changed to Ranking quite early and quite fast ... mine didn't change until around noon (US EST time zone) ... so I will take it as a bad omen and begin preparing myself mentally for the rejection email.
Good luck and congrats to everyone who will get funded this year you are all wonderful!

Let's cross fingers for you!, maybe that reinforces the theory of the sooner you changed to ranking (within the panel), the more score you have.Fu Manchu wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 8:52 pmCongratulations! You got your status changed to ranking a few minutes before me. I believe that my score will be lower than yours, but I will just wait until Monday. Too much Campari to have any kind of news atm.ElonMusk wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 8:45 pmI received answer from DreamerGirl, first time applicant: 96 according to the information given. My evaluation status change took some time (I was worried indeed), then it rapidly changed in less than one hour to ranking
thanks a lot to dreamer and dreamergirl for spending their time in relaxing our nerves and anxiety
Good luck man, take a shot for me

It's not much about this; it's about the proposal mainly, the profile of the researcher doesnt count as much; I have 3 postdocs and I am in the "best" haha university and dept in Europe for my discipline and second one worldwide.. but still, if I dont write a good proposal i would never manage to get the MCIF.

I don't know, and it's my first msca application. I believe it depends on the cutoff score this year. But from the phrasing of it, it could be... fingers crossed for you. Good luck!

Thanks for your reply. we pretty much have alot in common but i am in life science. Was your research stay in a different from the country u studied for pHd?ElonMusk wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 8:57 pmNot at all as I haven't finished my PhD. I will defend in two months. If you want to know about my CV, it is pretty normal I would say besides the fact I have some experience in industry and that I did two international research stays during my PhD, hence almost all my publications have international co-authors

But yeah, I guess having postdoc experience would help you in the extent to which you'd have a better understanding of how to write a good proposal, what is worth researching, and how to do so.. so in this sense having postdoc experience might help.HopefullyMCIF wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 9:00 pmIt's not much about this; it's about the proposal mainly, the profile of the researcher doesnt count as much; I have 3 postdocs and I am in the "best" haha university and dept in Europe for my discipline and second one worldwide.. but still, if I dont write a good proposal i would never manage to get the MCIF.

Besides Ranking I am wondering what does it mean when you have an actual number in :
budget
ecContribution "number here"
totalBudget "and here"
Instead of XXXXXX. Could this be a good sign?
This is what anxiety do to me, haha.
