Re: 2020 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2020)
Any suggestion on applying for a Global Fellowship with a host institution in the current place of employment (where I am currently doing a postdoc, in UK), or if it more appreciated if I apply through a host institution in a different country? Please also note that my current institution is not where I did my PhD, but it is in the same country though. Thanks!

Hi everyone,
for the record, so single NCP in either France or Italy knows the results, I've been stalking them all since early this morning!

Its a risk. I applied last year with outgoing host my current employer and incomming host my PhD employer and I did not get the grant. Coincidently, they did not pick it up. Actually they said its good for hosting arrangements but...its a risk simply because the next reviewer might not like it and ask what you gain from the fellowship? So you need to justify it very well.HopefullyMCIF wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 3:44 pmAny suggestion on applying for a Global Fellowship with a host institution in the current place of employment (where I am currently doing a postdoc, in UK), or if it more appreciated if I apply through a host institution in a different country? Omg, so absolutely non serious that some NCP know and circulate results in advance and some others don't. Makenno sense to me

I talked to my responsible contact in Nice, they said they have no idea how the results are distributed (whether by name, acronym, number, country etc.). Then I talked to 5 or 6 NCPs, I don't remember, neither had the results.
So I'm wondering how it's possible that some people keep saying that they received the results from their NCP.

Yes ok, but independently of who leaks. My consideration is that, it is not plausible that Italy and France have no winning applications. This may mean that not all winners have received yet their email?Cat_Bì wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 3:52 pmWell I'm wondering whether it's really NCPs that tell the results, or if it's someone from EC who leaks the info...

Hi folks, another shy reader here.
This is my second attempt in the ENV panel. I got 91.2% last year and rejection. I have received 5 hours ago the acceptance and GAP. Got 95.4% this round. Congrats to everyone and don't give up!

One person that I know got it from France. He received the email this morning around 8am
