MSCA funded from RESERVE LIST
Re: MSCA funded from RESERVE LIST
AFAIK I am 2nd on GF-ENG.. lots of global second places here
I estimated that about 30 people got it this year, so need a dropout of about 6% to get in, while the average dropout for the whole call seems to be about 3.5% this year. Of course the distribution between panels is unknown so let's see..
I just hope that some other winning engineer gets a better deal elsewhere or more funds become available soon.

"the average dropout for the whole call seems to be about 3.5% this year." Where did you get this information? Thank you!iteration wrote: ↑Thu Jun 17, 2021 5:54 pmAFAIK I am 2nd on GF-ENG.. lots of global second places here

Assuming that results showing up on CORDIS are confirmed (now 1582), while those on the call's page (now 1643) are the total funded:
https://ec.europa.eu/info/funding-tende ... ca-if-2020
Updating the numbers we have 1643-1582 = 61 not confirmed yet.iteration wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 11:11 amNow 1575. If those are all confirmed it means that there are about 3.5% of the proposals still to be assigned.iteration wrote: ↑Mon May 24, 2021 1:43 pmNow there are 1572 results on CORDIS:

1639-1572 = 67 still to be assigned?
Hypothesizing an uniform distribution among panels (of course it is not) I guess that for Global only the first in the reserve list has a reasonable chance.
61/1643 = 0.037 ~ 3.7%
It is just a back of the envelope calculation with unproven assumptions
Re: MSCA funded from RESERVE LIST
Confirmed no. of grants keep on increasing, now only hope is 3-5 % funds kept reserve for last hour. This may generate 100-125 additional grants.
Re: MSCA funded from RESERVE LIST
Hi everybody,
I write just to inform you that I received today the invitation for the grant agreement, in case you find this info useful.
I was first in the reserve list for the MAT panel.
Good luck to all of you!
