2018 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2018)
Re: 2018 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2018)
my status has also changed to "evaluation".
it is my first trial to get this fellowship. seems for the new applicants, there are not that many chances.
no clues with this magic link or possible releasing date. but seems we are approaching X day.

And to add something else. Actually they have a provisional date for releasing the results (12 February). All previous years they have released a bit earlier than that. But there is nothing to force them to release this week or even the next one. They probably follow a well established protocol so that everything runs smoothly and that there are no breaches/problems.

Well, it depends when they rank the proposals. If the status changes to ranking quickly, then results will be out next week.

Why would it go to "ranking" quickly? What is different from last year? If anything it should go slower because there are more proposals.
I dont really think they care about the candidates being stressed to find out. They will just do their job.

I don't think we can compare it with last year. At least for this year I don't know anyone whose status changed before 24 Jan.evolved wrote: ↑Thu Jan 24, 2019 4:17 pmWhy would it go to "ranking" quickly? What is different from last year? I agree with you. I don't think they do them all together and I also imagine that the process is completely automated. I cannot imagine that they need to go through 10000 proposal to upload individually scores and reports.
Now i am shitting myself! Mine as well shows EVALUATION

If one imagines that there are likely quite a few people involved in updating our accounts, its unlikely that they would all do it at once. They probably get a bunch of proposals each and an order to 'have it done by Friday at 5pm' or something like that. The variance in our accounts shown in the link could quite easily represent the work practices of staff. In other words, the guy who is dealing with my account could just have a shorter 'to do' list than the guy who is dealing with your account. I dunno, just my thoughts on it.

I think they have started to upload the ESR to individuals account. Once the process is complete, they will start the ranking phase.

Make sense. Once they have uploaded everything, they will hit the "ranking" button and once that is finished, then probably there will be the "make the results visible to these losers" button.

I'm assuming that we will not be able to see if we were accepted/rejected in that link before results are officially released, yes?

I strongly believe that the process will take a couple of days to complete and we will receive the email by Monday.
