Small question: what is the Brexit date?

i doubt it matters as the UK has officially declared to fullfill and pay (atleast!) all Horizon 2020 deals that were SUBMITTED before brexit.

Without any speculations : if I was in charge in the Brussels office, i would certainly requested to give the results before the Brexit date. Think about it, how hard they worked to make this happen. And how insane it will be for all the officers to revise every single grant based on new SOPs. UK is one of the top countries in terms of MSCA submissions. I am just saying.....

I personally think its naive to think results will come before Brexit when there is a forum member who was clearly given 2 weeks to report back with ethics... Surely nothing will get released until those are sorted, so lets just wait

Yep, it does not change much for people who have applied with a UK host, as funding is guarranted by the UK (UKRI website). I believe some of us were thinking that it could 'free' some more fundings for other countries, but to be honnest, I am not sure it will be as easy I have no idea!
And also... yes, Brexit supposed to take place on the 31st (two days) but then there will be a transition period until at least December 2020, where the EU rules will still apply etc. I don't know where the Marie Curie fellowship stand in all of that.
I also thought they would give results before Brexit, but people who have been asked to clairfy ethics have until this week, I believe ? (from what i read on the forum), so ... not really sure they would give any results this week

It will have a transition phase. During this phase, maybe till the end of 2020, nothing will really change between UK and EU I think.Amar wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2020 5:27 pmWithout any speculations : if I was in charge in the Brussels office, i would certainly requested to give the results before the Brexit date. They will only agree about how the things will go on after December 2020.
It is what I understood.

How is it possible that they made the ranking if the deadline for ethics reviews is Friday? Is it possible that they have already finished?

Maybe RANKING phase includes everyone who is under the winning score and have no ethical issues... who knowsMSCA_CHEM_2019 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2020 6:02 pmHow is it possible that they made the ranking if the deadline for ethics reviews is Friday? Is it possible that they have already finished?
