I think that some institutions just help a lot with writing the proposal - using the keywords that the evaluators want to see etc, maybe that is why these countries are so successful?

Ok thank you mate. I have to wait the ESR. That means I am not going to apply again. Review process is ridiculous I believe.

sorry to hear that. you need good grounds to request an evaluation review, like factual errors that you see in the evaluation. But I doubt you could find such, as I think they are super careful with how the evaluators phrase the comments (very generic) so as to avoid such requests. and they are also scrutinised later on by the panels before the evaluation comments are released to the candidates.

If your host is not from UK, germany or france, you dont stand a chance, especially in engineering

This has just become terrifying. I’m a bit glad Ireland is staying silent. I would rather just find out officially rather than email in terror.

I am waiting to hear from a TT job. If it happens, I won't need to deal with this BS. If not, oh well, who knows?

In fact, It was global fellowship not one of those countries. Yes it was engineering. So You are suggesting not to request re-evaluation.

This was the second time. I do not care to be rejected. But I'm pissed off that getting same score. You know what also I got professional help to develop this year bid. yet nothing changed. Anyway, thank you for your support.

you should give it another go, since you have the proposal ready! wait and see what the ESR says.
