I will start submitting my next year's proposal directly after the call opens, like this I won't wait for the results, 845 and the suffering continues

Thanks RADium. I’m still feeling disappointed since it is so close yet so far. I read somewhere here that SOC cut off is 92.6%; my score is 90.6 so I hold no hopes for getting it though the reserve list.

One thing that made me happy in the ESR is they said my host supervisor is excellent; she has only just taken up position at the host and while being fabulous we were worried that since she is not full prof, and leading a big group etc. that would damage the chances.

Instead they killed me on implementation, stating at once that the pan is appropriate and well described as well as overly complex

Email came just now too, but it just gives a link to the portal, no information on outcome.

Docs appeared first in Document library (one by one), then in process documents.

Did you receive an email too? And where did your docs appear in the portal? I think I’ll end up being a reservist as well...
Cheers, and congrats on the reserve status! A mixed blessing but better than ‘no!’

88.6, CAR, supposedly on the reserve list. I have gainful employment outside of academia, this was a weird moment where I thought maybe I would come back, but I'm also surprisingly okay with not doing so. I think it helps that the negative comments from the reviewers are really stupid - they just don't actually feel like criticisms because they are so spurious.

And when I say spurious, I mean that one of the negative comments was *literally* that I didn't explain clearly enough how the host would provide office space. If that's how they are rejecting them, that's fine - I have a life to get on with!

Fingers crossed! I thought the same thing. Best of luck to you and all those who are still suffering! Good luck to those who didn't get it, there are plenty of calls and we all have written a very solid proposal. That was very nice to read that thread!

Wow, that beats mine ;). I said I speak the languages of the case countries (highlighted as a strength last year) and the reviewers felt like I should have elaborated on how well :o :D

Thanks!!
