I'm new here and to MSCA (first time applying). I've made the (entertaining) mistake of reading through last year's madness of a thread, and found the infamous link. Also still on SUBMISSION - I was starting to get worried it meant that my proposal hadn't even gone out to review, and am relieved that others are also in that phase.
Fingers crossed for everyone!
Last year I got EVALUATION phase on 24/01, RANKING on 29/01 and REJECTION on 12/02.

Hi Kitten,
I am asking you in regards to the seal of excellence: did you receive a regular "reject" message during publication of results or some other informal message with your score and a number in a waiting list?

Hi all, I am thinking to apply in September 2020 and I was hoping someone here could answer my question (you seem to be experts:)). Thanks in advance!
I would move to a different country and the host institution will be different (so these two points will meet the requirements) but I will be working with the same PI (who has another secondary position at the host in). Does anyone know if this will be okay, or where I could get an answer? There are a lot of info available about the mobility rule but this one is not straightforward. Thanks a lot for your help!!

I would say practically it sounds ok since you are moving to different institution.MC_1111 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 1:10 pmHi all, I am thinking to apply in September 2020 and I was hoping someone here could answer my question (you seem to be experts:)). Thanks in advance!

However, one important aspect in this fellowship is the two-way transfer of knowledge. You will need to explain how you will acquire new skills, as well as how your background will benefit the host group.

This should be fine as you are changing country. The real question is how the reviewers are going to see you working with the same PI again. Even though the mobility requirement is satisfied they might give you a low score for working with the same person again.
Remember: this fellowship is all about learning new stuff, make new contacts, and most importantly "getting out from your confort zone".
Whether I am not sure how they going to see your case, you have to justify very well you working with the same supervisor again.
As an example I am changing country and research topic, and I will work (hopefully) with someone I don't know. However, I will do a secondment with my PhD supervisor; I justified this by saying that my previous boss is an expert in a technique I need to use and since I worked in that lab for a looooong time I know how everything works. Thus, I will be more productive and I will have time to do lots of stuff. Last year evaluators found this idea fine.

Also vey true. You will basically give the host institution techniques you have learned with your current PI, which has also a group there, so it might be hard to convince them there is a real two way transfer of knowledge.MSCA-ch wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 1:34 pmI would say practically it sounds ok since you are moving to different institution.MC_1111 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 1:10 pmHi all, I am thinking to apply in September 2020 and I was hoping someone here could answer my question (you seem to be experts:)). Thanks for your answers...these are all very good points. However, I should be working with the same supervisor only from April/May (just a few months before the submission of the proposal) and in the other host institution they have also a different research approach/focus so it might work out okay anyway...All good points to consider but I was first of all worried about the fact I could not even apply...

Hi everybody,
When I check it, it says there is a problem with the systems. Same for you?

Yup. I'm checking the portal and link way way too often considering we're still 4 weeks from the official announcement datechaturanga wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 3:42 pmHi everybody,
