This was my second attempt and I got 30 point lower than the previous one with slightly revised proposal! It is disappointing and discouraged me to apply again.
It is ridiculous. My supervisor is one of the top scientist in the area and he actively engaged in writing. Actually the proposal is a part of his bilateral project which passed scientific evaluation but failed to get support due to the financial crisis in one of the country in that year.
I did not revise the impact part which I had 4.7 in the previous proposal and I have 1.6 for the same part now. There are lots of weird things in the report and they are far from being constructive.

It is not uncommon to get rejected for a revised proposal but having 30 points lower for it with “generic” comments is heartbreaking.

Congratulations to people who got the fellowship.

I am sorry to hear that, best of luck with your future projects and fellowship.

In section 2, I have 4.8 with no weakness. I don't understand how it is possible ...

It is definitely a total lottery...the same here, 20 points lower on my revised proposal... any way for a legal complaint?

I GOT IT!

This was my third attempt (2017: 78; 2018: 90,2; 2019: 94,8).

Congratulations for those who got it.
I'm really sorry for those who didn't. In my case, it was worth resubmitting, so, on a positive note, keep investing in your project if you believe in it.

Curiously enough, I still got some weird weaknesses, such as "the meetings with the supervisor are not detailed enough" (?), although I stated how often we would meet...
