Hi everyone!

My proposal from last year was put on the reserve list and I received an email today saying the proposal had been rejected. It took me a while to realize the email was referring to last year's application! Did this happen to anyone else?

oh wow, so something is happening. did you apply for this year too?
is this even possible when your last year proposal is still on the reserved list?

Yes. I re-applied this year. You can apply even if your previous proposal is still on reserve list, because being on reserve list does not guarantee any funding and, as I realized today, it can take one year until getting the final result of such reserve list.
