Is it possible that the results will be delayed this year due to brexit? Any info on that?

From what I have understood from Internet + asking the comission,
> If the Brexit takes place before the results are announced, the UK will take over assessment of the proposals using similiar criteria than the EU (which may delay the answer for us ? That's only my guess).
> If the Brexit takes place after the reuslts are announced, the UK will ensure funding of those awardees.

So it is hard to know what is really going to happen, but I do not think it will delay the process  :)

Re: Brexit
My understanding is that if the current withdrawal agreement is ratified by the European parliament, then absolutely nothing changes with regards to H2020 when Brexit happens at the end of the month. The changes will only come at the end of the transition period, which is the end of the year(if not extended).
So, it will not affect the results of the call we are talking about.

However, in the extremely unlikely event of the European Parliament rejecting the agreement, things could get very interesting for some of us. Chance of a no deal Brexit, which could possibly mean funds going to UK hosts will suddenly be available to the rest of us :D

Edit: The agreement needs to be approved by the House of Lords too. Same point there.

 true :) ... if only they decide to use that money this year, and for this purpose ;) !
I have to say I was hoping they would release the results before the end of the month in order to avoid things to be more complicated (I applied to a UK host... Yep, a great idea to apply to the UK at the exact moment of Brexit , ahah   ).

Hi folks!
Happy new MSCA-IF-2019 madness to y'all.
Nice to read you and, above all, happy to know that we're not alone in this world of waiting misery. Last year we overwhelmed NCPs and officers with questions about the release date, that's why I think that they'll stick to the date and give results on Feb 11th. This doesn't mean I'm not already biting my nails...
Good luck!
I wish that they would just clarify that Feb 11th is the one and only results day. The couple of weeks before are way more miserable because of the anticipation than if they would just set a date and we knew that's when results would be out.

I was surprisingly mellow about only making the reserve list last year. Now I have an academic-adjacent job that I really enjoy, so I am trying to be laid back about the results (although I would love the opportunity of this fellowship). Good luck to all of us. Some happy results are waiting out there for us, so I hope as a group many good things come to us.
Can i kindly ask what do you define as "academic-adjacent job"?
I am in a higher-ed management job. It's good - I enjoy the work I do, the institution I work for, and the people I work with. And yet, research still calls me back . . .

(I applied to the CAR panel)

Mine status is changed from submission to final. Does it indicate a rejection already?

We are talking about a kind of backdoor link that gives some more information than the participant portal. Fair warning, it's kind of a rabbit hole ;) Don't go down there. We also don't know if it's frozen.

https://ec.europa.eu/research/participa ... ect/XXXXXX

XXXXXX is your proposal number.

Thank you, LIF! Now I understand the system better. This is my first submission and it is great to share my anxiety together with all of you. :-)
