but this is what I mean! most life sci people will have the right language because the institute is used to writing grants, as in my case where they gave me the ERC template. sorry if that was unclear! I meant although life sciences is the most likely to be checked most will not have additional questions. I just don't think I will succeed even though my ethics was probably written right ...Steminist wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2021 1:52 pmSo in this point, i should give up? Because i use both primary cells and mice, for primary cells, i already added the ethical approval as annex and i said it will extended upon acceptance. For mice, i include 3R and i already gave the number of mice which will be used. So i was relax until this post but about ethics but now i feel, next year i will follow this forum again :/lifmc2020 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2021 1:34 pmyes. though a lot of times if you work with animals your institute has a template to follow when writing the ethics. In my case they gave me the language the PIs use when writing ERCs and I just had to fill in the estimated numbers of mice/ethics approval numbers etc. Though I think it is unlikely I will succeed at the grant, I think many LIF people will have the same and so they will not be contacted for extra info even though they make it.sudroy wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2021 1:27 pmI have applied for the first time, also posting here for the first time. I came to know from my project coordinator that candidates with research proposals that deal with animals, stem cells, or human studies, children etc. might receive emails on ethical issues. Proposals in the fields of physical sciences and engineering do not usually have such issues.

We all have this status. Please, look in the forum for a magic link, or how to disable the styles on your MSCA profile page to see the real status/phase . It is at the beginning of the conversation.

And s/he also began their first posts on this forum by asking if anyone knew that *if* you got the grant whether you could then change the host and supervisor. But s/he is also the most accomplished scientist ever, and s/he knows that they haven't got the grant, but they also know that they do have it, and the lab that they want to work in is the most highly rated ever where no one has ever applied for an MSCF and failed to receive it, but s/he wants to change (except that maybe they forgot that part of the story).

I will be surprised if you get the fellowship by this kind of write up.

Guys, please keep the good atmosphere here!
If anybody gets a fellowship, let's simply celebrate.
Otherwise, let's just happily stress together and share any hint we may get.
