Yes, I am the first time applicant, so don't have much information, but tried to catch up information from previous year's postings.
If that is true, then the EC may change to add emblem this year for all the applicants or have some meaning... no one knows until we get the result haha.

I can see "my formal notification". However, I am not sure that it has been always "my formal notification" or changed as you mentioned...

its always been formal for me.

My "home" logo is white, unless I place a cursor on it (then it turns yellow), and I also have Formal notifications. Also, when I click on the "home" logo, it becomes yellow in the opened link.

In the magic link it's still in Submission.

to change the subject (sorry a bit LIF oriented): I wonder how many proposals were submitted on the subject of covid, surely a lot ...would be interesting to know if they get funded at a higher rate than other topics (ie projects on cancer or cardiovascular disease etc)...as has been happening with other funding organisations ...

You could try to go to the "follow-up" section > process documents > proposal,
then there should be 3 documents (integrated one, part b1, part b2).

For my case, the top right corner in the first page of those documents has the emblem and ref no with a date (2020 October)
However, when I download only one integrated proposal file from "view submitted" in "my proposal" section, I don't see them.

I don't think it means that I got it.

Since the date marked is October when the REA sent out the proposal for review to evaluators after they screened eligibility and administrative requirements, I think at maximum it means that my proposal perhaps passed the eligibility check by the EC and sent out for review..

Again, this is just my speculation without any guarantee...
