Just changed to ranking, Chemistry.
Good luck to us all :3

Hello @all

First time applicant. I ve followed the platform since April and registered today

MSCA IF ST-CHE

Current phase : Ranking (Moved to ranking ca. 20 hrs)
Evaluation: ca. 14 hrs

Is there realy a correlation between this stages (evaluation and ranking) to gettin the grant?

Wishing everyone the best.

C.

Ranking seems to imply your application is being placed in a list of possible candidates for funding.

Has anyone heard of a university funding an application that was ranked highly but didn't make the cut for MSCA? The "seal of excellence" ought to count for something, no?

We switched to evaluation almost at the same time, so yes.... fingers tightly crossed!
Does anyone know what happened to those who were in evaluation since the beginning of January (I think it was EMC and someone else)
It was me! Since at least 11th January. Third attempt,. First 84 second seal of excellence 87, let's see this year. Still in evaluation...
Hi all! It's my first post but I've been reading the forum since a while and it definitely helped to know that I wasn't the only one biting my nails...
I'm in similar situation as CAR-LIF and ECM, Evaluation phase since 22nd of January or earlier. That's the day I found the forum and checked for the first time ;) I'm still in Evaluation phase. Good luck to everybody!

I think "Evaluation" does not mean below 70

Look nothing is definite until results are out. But the facts indicate that IT DOES. I have double checked it with other EC grants I was part of. So I know it is stressful and disturbing but it is more probable that if a status does not change within the next hours of the day to Ranking that it is below 70. Remember though that a ranking score might be 71 and an evaluation 69 so not much difference in the end. In this casw i would have preferred evaluation to keep my hopes low. We should all wait for the results.

Obvious. Wild, nonsense, but funny speculation.
