What I really do not understand is why we need to wait until Monday if they have already finished and the host institutions have already been notified. I am sure they know that we are all freaking out. It does sound a little bit sadistic
I suppose they don't want the NCPs to be inundated with replies during the weekend when nobody can respond?
Still, this would explain why they don't release the results on a Friday, but it does not justify leaving it to the very last day before the deadline...

The host institutions have not been notified. The NCP (National Contact Point) has been notified. They are at the country, not university level. There is sometimes only one (or a few) per country. It seems they always get the results beforehand.

It appears that Dreamer and others have got their results (and perhaps that of others?) from this NCP. My university research office has stated they do not receive the results until we do.

Ugh, via a leak also dropped below threshold. Submission #1 = seal of excellence & waitlist etc, submission #2, rejection, but strong scores on everything but excellence and still over 80, submission #3 below threshold and I’m sure it is because I addressed the reviewer critique from last year.

My advice, if you resubmit, don’t do much and just resubmit the same.

I was in evaluation still, so I think ranking/evaluation holds true.

The reviewer process is a genuine lottery. I’m sad about the emotional energy I wasted.
I'm so sorry for you, PetetheCat. This time below the threshold looks completely insane considering you got the seal of excellence for the first time. Thank you for opening the first thread in this nice forum and best wishes for your future research!

Yeah, this is not cool - can whoever deleted it please remove the picture from your Facebook post? It’s bad manners to screenshot out from a group like this.
