Hi, I'm too scared to ask our Dreamer heroes group about the results, therefore I will torture myself waiting for an official e-mail from the EC . This is my second time here, last year 83%, we will see if the time spent on improving the project will be appreciated . Nevertheless, all the best to NoPanic42! I will join the toasts with Italian sparkling wine (currently I'm on the short post-doc in Sicily) celebrating my failure (more likely).

Fish, it would be fair to say that Patxaran is originally from NAVARRE. They even have it regulated with an IGP.

I grow up in Navarre and even though I consider the best Patxaran I have ever tasted is that one made by my father at home, I can still distinguish a good and a bad booze.

That thing you show in your picture that, as read in the label, has been produced somewhere in Alava, can't be described as Patxaran

If we get out of the pandemic someday (if that ever happens) and you plan a trip to Navarre, do let me know and I will take you to taste real Patxaran. You'd better use that concoction you are drinking as hand sanitizer

PS. There is no story behind my choice of booze rather than that it's the cheapest ad the strongest (3,5%) beer I could find on Sunday in Stockholm .

Patxaran / pacharan (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patxaran), very typical in the Pays Basque. It's a bit stronger than your beer.. but perfect for a Sunday afternoon celebration of a birthday and some other good news!
