Whaaat??? You need to wait almost a whole year?? And did you submit another proposal on the meantime or did you just went all in with the one in the reserve list?

So, I was on the reserve list last year and I was formally rejected a couple weeks ago. My friend from Pakistan was on the reserve list the whole year and she got an offer about a month ago, pretty last minute. That's not much info but it's first-hand :).

Hello everyone! I've been reading this page for a couple of days now (when all the evaluation/ranking drama was happening, but too late to know how fast I went into ranking). I was wondering when would you know if you get the grant if you end up in the waiting list? It's not that I am, I still don't know my outcome (a bit of fear and a bit of not wanting to overwhelm the dreamers!). Btw, thanks to them for been so nice and congrats to all the awardees!

Did some body checked rules for next call?
I saw this on EC website, somewhere I don’t find now (just shared a text I saved):

The goal of MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of researchers holding a PhD and who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral mobility.

Two types of action: European Fellowships (12 to 24 months), Global Fellowships (12 to 24 outgoing phase + 12 months return phase). If requested and justified in the proposal, an additional period of up to six months can be awarded to researchers who will spend that period in a non-academic organisation established in an EU Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Country.

At the call deadline, supported researchers must have a maximum of 8 years full-time equivalent experience in research, measured from the date that the researcher was in a possession of a doctoral degree and certified by appropriate documents. (NEW)

Resubmission restriction applying to proposals rated below 70% in previous Horizon Europe Calls (NEW)

Tentative dates for 2021 call: Opening : 15 April 2021, Deadline : 15 Sep 2021
I think the resubmission will be restricted to proposals with scores 80% and above in the previous calls.

I submitted another proposal (resubmission) while being on the reserve list. I don't know about my Pakistani friend.

Dear Dreamer and the team keeping this group alive, thanks a ton! I just cannot thank you all enough for great company and humour through these stressful times. Have a great year and keep rocking :) I had my doze of whiskey the last two days so no drinks tonight and happy birthday the birthday person and congrats on your grant!

Dreamer told me I got through too but I’m too scared to celebrate before I see the official email. But the truth is, most of the stress is off of my shoulders and helped me get through the weekend with my sanity intact 🤣

Thanks and loads of hugs for the ones who didn’t make it this year, all the best and keep up your good work and great spirit !

Thanks no42! I’m on LIF, I don’t know the cut off and my score is 95 from dreamer :) looking at the scores of some applications >94 which aren’t even on reserve list, I think I’m too close to the cut off..
