Thank you very much Dreamer and DreamerGirl for your kindness to help everyone out throughout the weekend! Also a big thanks to everyone here for camaraderie along this very very crazy and stressful journey!

I'm a first time applicant (GF, LIF) and was very optimistic about my proposal because of the hard work put into it and very assuring hopes from my two superstar supervisors. Sadly, I failed (73.6) and it took me almost a full day to get over the feelings of worthlessless and hopelessness. But now I'm back and I just want to share this message to all here: Bravo to all who got the fellowship and you guys really deserve a big celebration!! For those who have tried hard but have valiantly bowed out, lets keep our heads up and move on! There will be more opportunities and we just have to keep on improving ourselves and get stronger, and one day we will get there!

Looking forward to the reviewers comments to improve my re-application next year! I would also be very very thankful if successful LIF candidates could share their winning proposals with me!

Last, for documentation sake, I got from evaluation to ranking in about 2h30 as well

Did some body checked rules for next call?

I saw this on EC website, somewhere I don’t find now (just shared a text I saved):

The goal of MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of researchers holding a PhD and who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral mobility.

Two types of action: European Fellowships (12 to 24 months), Global Fellowships (12 to 24 outgoing phase + 12 months return phase). If requested and justified in the proposal, an additional period of up to six months can be awarded to researchers who will spend that period in a non-academic organisation established in an EU Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Country.

At the call deadline, supported researchers must have a maximum of 8 years full-time equivalent experience in research, measured from the date that the researcher was in a possession of a doctoral degree and certified by appropriate documents. (NEW)

Resubmission restriction applying to proposals rated below 70% in previous Horizon Europe Calls (NEW)

Tentative dates for 2021 call: Opening : 15 April 2021, Deadline : 15 Sep 2021

I think the resubmission will be restricted to proposals with scores 80% and above in the previous calls.

I just copy-pasted the information, I have no idea actually of what we'll finally find...

Talking to a friend now, the really bad part of this is that it's certainly not easy to recycle this proposal to other calls, given the format is so specific and it doesn't share much similarities with other calls (to my knowledge). Any thoughts on this?? Curious to see your opinions/comments/suggestions
