I am in PHY and I received it around lunchtime in the past two years, rejected, so my theory is that they send them randomlyphysics_girl wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 9:17 amI know someone last year in PHY who didn't hear until 5pm and got the grant with high 90s as their score. So I'm not sure about the theory that they send the emails by score

Dear friends,
No news for me. No change in the proposal EC portal either. However, I know from Dreamer that I failed with 84%. I am a little bit depressed to tell you the truth however I am pleased for the decent score regarding the difficult conditions and limited time that I had for preparing the proposal. I hope now for good comments that will allow me to do better next year. My true congratulations to everyone that have been awarded with the fellowship. You deserved it! My condolences and thoughts to all of you who did not get it. It must be extremely hard especially for people receiving a score >90% and didn’t make it. You did such a good job! I have some questions regarding next year.
1. Do we have any information that next year there will be a limitation regarding the years after PhD completion?? If yes how many years?
2. I have applied at the CAR panel this year. However in a few months I will most probably start a postdoc , If I do not apply next year in the CAR panel with the same proposal is this considered a re-submission?
3. I would be so thankful if someone with a successful application could share its proposal with me. It would be so helpful. I am in LIF field.

Received the notification at 5h57 am 'Your EU project xxx- xxx; request for additional data to prepare your Grant Agreement'
Incredible. Thank you everyone on the forum - the support has been amazing. I had a terrible night with another postdoc interview at 7 am. My mind is f... up.

Yo, so what kind of scores were getting accepted if someone got a waitlist for 93.4%? Is it going to be panel dependant?

I like your theories more than emails by score because I'm still waitingnat-if2020 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 9:21 amI am in PHY and I received it around lunchtime in the past two years, rejected, so my theory is that they send them randomlyphysics_girl wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 9:17 amI know someone last year in PHY who didn't hear until 5pm and got the grant with high 90s as their score. but I don't see any rejection emails reported here in the chat - people seem to receive good news first
btw I am in physics too but apply for CAR panel. Good luck, colleagues!
