Hello again... I still can’t believe it, but I got it! I received an email this morning saying something about a grant agreement, then I went on the portal and I found the offer letter and the evaluation. My score is 96.80, SOC (it was a resubmission. I had made some small amendments according to the comments. I had 84 and something last year)... for future references, I was already in ranking at around 4/4.30 CET last Wednesday. I had some hope for this, but I was scared even to thonk about it. I am over the moon... and I am not sure if I am dreaming. It was really my last chance for staying into academia... For those who have not got it this year, keep trying! If you believe in your project something can happen to make it real!

So it seems like I'm not even in the 50% of applicants in my field.

So this unfortunately makes me feel like shit and a terrible motivation to keep on in academia.

Guys, based on dreamers I most probably have been rejected, but I just got a faculty interview for one of the very best universities in the US (not an Ivy League though, but a very good one, and BTW I'm Iranian and I haven't even studied in the US). I just want to say whatever result you get for this MSCA it doesn't indicate what a good/bad researcher you are. There are a million reasons why we get rejected in a fellowship, but win another one. I know a lot of you feel bad seeing you are rejected, some of you for a second time, but I just want to say please don't give up just because of this! And good luck to everyone, either for MSCA or whatever else you want to do in academia.

Don't despair. If your project has value and if your host supports you, it will be recognised as such next year by a new set of reviewers or in another grant application. If its not strong enough, this may be a good chance to revise and improve.

I received my evaluation report and I am on the reserve list. Someone else also shared theirs with me and they are on the reserve list with these scores:
Excellence 4.2
Impact 4.7
Implementation 4.8
However, the Impact and Implementation sections both say:
Weaknesses:
None
Is removing points but saying that a section has no weaknesses accepted by the European Commission? Would this be grounds for re-evaluation in your opinion or no?
In my opinion, yes. I'd wouldn't agree to take someone's points off without justification, if I was the chair.
