It just means that the results would be announced tentatively by 9th Feb. All of us here are in the same boat.

Left side of that is mentioned: submitted 9th September.

Nothing specific! It just shows Feb 9 for the "informed" step.
Yes, it mentioned the Sep. 9. Does it have a meaning?

Hi All,

I am still in submission. If this indicates probability of rejection ?
Last year I was in ranking at the end of Jan.

don't worry new posters, we are all in submission except ECM.

@lif20 I think it is a good sign even if you have a short window to reply that they contacted you. I think you have a really good chance. :)

@sero please stop. even if in your case your host institute magically knows before everyone (which I'm really skeptical of) for most of us they do not and it is not a great way to get to know them by harassing them for information.

Most of it taking into account that last year there was a massive leak, I´d bet they don´t want this to happen ever again, so this year they will be extremelly careful (just my opinión in here). Oh and that you all so much, now I suddenly weak up everynight around 1 am feeling the necessity to check my mailbox… great

I think you should sleep well as waking up at midnight will not change anything. Already the reviewers gave you the scores. It will reach you in February and don't wait before that. Because you are not asking your host then February you will get the email with congratulations or ...

I didn't check out the status last year till 3rd of February. This year I needed to decide if I had to join the new host. They don't give unlimited time to decide for accepting the offer. Therefore, I searched and found the results.

???? I have been sleeping. I posted in the morning in Europe... my point is everyone in this forum is saying the host doesn't know first so I don't get why you keep insisting. also at my host the people managing grants asked me to include them as a contact person when I wrote the application so they would know the result right away and not have to wait to be told after. this implies that the host organisation knows nothing, otherwise they would be able to tell the grant management team themselves before anyone told me anything.

I agree with you to all applications. They know the successful candidates before the candidates come to know. The fellowship will not transfer the funding immediately to the host university. The university needs to submit a grantee. This grantee varies by number of successful candidates.
