Someone in Facebook has posted that the EC has sent an email asking for providing information about the host LEAR.

What is LEAR?

The Commission needs to intervene in the assignment of the following 2 key roles:

1. LEAR (Legal Entity Appointed Representative) - organisation role
The LEAR serves as a trusted administrative contact for the Commission, providing reliable information at the level of the organisation (not at the level of individual grants). Usually LEARs are administrative staff members in the central administration of the organisation. The LEAR handles all the organisation-related data on the Funding & Tenders Portal and appoints representatives within their organisation to electronically sign grant agreements or financial statements for project costs.

There can only be one LEAR per organisation.

So for sure they are checking administrative details. But it may just be that they make sure all LEARs are correct, even for rejections. So it shows that they make the check, but it is hard to know if it indicates anything about timeline between now and Feb 9, or the fate of the proposal where this question was asked.

I am not currently in the EU, so I have to admit that every morning I do have some anticipation that there will have been some news in the night!

For sure everyone, no matter how slow the EC folks are, we have a maximum of 15 days to results. Probably less than this. We are now in a special time of building a community around our hopes and dreams, our wild speculation, and our paranoia. So we should relax, enjoy the memes, and welcome all of those anxious newcomers who are also searching the internet for signs of when the result will come . . .

As far as I know there was just one person in evaluation am I right?? I am still in submission and it seems to me I'll be in this phase till summer this is so slow!!!

Yes, you are right. As far as I know as well, I am the only one in Evaluation now.
I am not sure what this implies, but I may have some eligibility issues, so this early change to Evaluation could mean the failure to meet eligibility criteria, although my proposal has emblem, ref number, and date marked on October...

We will see how this turns out, but I am a bit negative....

Could you please send the link that you check the process? I don't see evaluation, ranking steps in my profile. I just check the follow-up and it says Final.
