I came to know about this forum from Facebook but I am dead against screenshot of somebody's tragedy...all people here are supposed to be PhD and few in topics like humanities and sociology type subjects..

I have read all the unread posts since this morning and ... I discover with deep regret that the great characters of this Forum didn't pass the threshold...unbelievable.
I am also under evaluation, and it seems to me totally unfair and illogical to send to the applicants reviews and suggestions from year to year, if they will be clearly totally ignored by the following year's committee.
I have learnt so much from you guys in these weeks! Thank you Dreamer, thank you PeteTheCat! You have been an inspiration of resilience (and computer tricks to reveal hidden information ). May we always, in life, remember that we are not just numbers but yes good and capable people. A big hug to you all!!

Just for fun, next year somebody should submit a project on the impact of long waiting times and low success rates in grant applications on the researchers' mental health...
