May be it was because inbox was getting flooded. It happened to one other member but got rectified I think.

I got the same, to I took a photo of that six-pack from afar and cropped it on my phone. I am sure there is a smarter solution to this though

You should be able to resize the photo either on your PC or on your phone (in whatever image editing app your phone has). Reducing it to under 1000px per side should be enough. Jpeg is also best for webspaces.
