Irrespective of the contract, in Italy Marie curie fellow gets ~4050 euros per months (after taxes and excluding family allowance). For those who are joining IIT, they will pay 30% taxes in the beginning but 2/3rd of that taxed money will be returned to you (ask your HR on how to get it back).
So in effect tax is only 10% at the end and I guess mobility allowance doesn't come under tax.
MSCA-IF Salary in Italy
Re: MSCA-IF Salary in Italy
Hi,
It looks like you started your MSCA this year.
I started mine on March 1st.
So far, I don’t know my net salary. I also have an Assegno di Ricerca with a total funding of €74,495.04.
Since I receive both the mobility and family allowances, I expect my net salary to be similar to yours.

That's pretty good income. It makes sense that the Family and Mobility shouldn't be taxed, while you are the first to claim such a case.
