TOPIC ‘Redress procedure’ – How to qualify and common outcomes
Including using the European Ombudsman and Complaints against the Research Executive Agency and European Commission
e.g. https://www.ombudsman.europa.eu/en/deci ... 1737#_ftn3

Hi all – Did this happen to you or to someone you know?

I’m thinking of applying for Redress because one of the my Evaluation Summary Report criteria (Criterion 3 – Implementation) has only Strengths and no Weaknesses - actually says “Weaknesses None” - but did it get full marks ...
– NO WAY.

It has been awarded less than the full marks of 5.00

Has anyone had this happen to them and applied for Redress or thinking of applying?

I think this happens to a lot of people, I got 4.8 and 4.8 in excellence and impact despite "No major weaknesses" as the only weakness cited.
And I ended up in the reserve list.
I guess that in our case we covered all the points for those sections but someone else covered them better (better prose, more clear, etc..).
The reviewers have to rank a lot of proposals that are all good and worth of funding, at some point it may just be that they like some prose better than others.
I don't think that appealing will change anything.

Same here 4.8 with no weakness. They can reduce 5 into 4.8
