really good question. I thought that one could still apply for EF-PF since UK is still in Europe
I found this online, I don't know about its reliability : https://accelopment.com/blog/news/safet ... on-europe/

But it is true, it might indicate that there could be more grants than what we could expect from the funds allocated this year. (The UK usually represents a large portion of the grants every year https://royalsociety.org/topics-policy/ ... countries/ )

That source says: "To mitigate uncertainty, both countries guaranteed safety nets for successful UK- and Swiss-based applicants with financial support while waiting for the full association to the programme. The funding for UK and Swiss applicants will come from the UK Research and Innovation agency (UKRI) and the" so maybe successful UK applicants will not be affected but I'm worried that I'm still in Evaluation.
Hi. I am in Ranking since yesterday and I am going to UK (rather I am in UK). So, I think that's not an issue

Still in Evaluation.
Is anybody here from "PF - SOC" that she/he is in Ranking? I read in some comments that being in Evaluation means that the proposal is above 70 but not above 85, is this valid or just speculation and/or lucky guess?

I don't think this applies to the MSCA. It is one stage and reviewers give a score for each part when they evaluate.

Yes and when they give a score (which could be part1), then a threshold is set and only a few proposals go on to be ranked.
Basically, depending on the threshold which could be 80-85 or less, some will remain in evaluation while others get to be ranked.
The document actually relates to MSCA and was published in June 2021

I'm wondering if folks know anyone in Evaluation that got the award last year?

Man, based on previous years results, all the ranked had received scores more than 85 and some were lucky to get the fellowship. However, still 11 days are there for final result. Anything can happen. At this stage you need to be positive. If you get then ok, if not then life won't end here as many more options are there.
Cheers

I saw somebody mentioning on last year's forum that s/he got it with "evaluation" status.

I had the same 4.8 but no weakness. I was told that reviewer can reduce 0.2 point without saying any reason. Because a reviewer receives around 20 proposals to review and might gave full mark to only one of them. Others will get 4.8 even they have no weakness.

This is my third attempt. However, I still do not know what the evaluation criteria is. Last time, I did not have any negative feedback for the 'excellence' part. Still, the score was 4.8/5.0
