In my present Institution most of the high-profile (expensive) journals are inaccessible.

Only the established with quality research are working.

It's unfortunate to ban Russian scientists. Don't forget Einstein's GTR was confirmed was Eddington at time of 2nd world war. Science has no boundary.
I am not from Europe.

Just the new decision of EC that the Russian Candidates will not get funding.

where is the news source? if that was true, it must be a ridiculous decision i ever heard. Science should not be involved into the politics. FYI: im not Russian.
Science is politics. Not only, but also.

I feel sad for the researchers though.

So ridiculous. Does this means if a Russian apply this fellowship, his/her application will be canceled directly

We could argue that everything is politics (political scientist here!) but still, not funding an individual for their nationality because of something they are not guilt of is absolutely insane. We don't choose where we are born and most of the times we don't choose our country's leaders either! The international situation is really worrying and I find speculating about the MSCA's results a distraction from everything that is happening so please let's keep this discussion alive ;)

That being said, going back to the proposal, I deleted the parenthesis in the subheadings  I had included a table in the first draft but the NCP reviewer suggested me to delete it so I only have one figure: the (very much hated) gantt chart!

I don't know (nobody knows actually, the sanctions where announced but were not applied yet). But those who applied for a GF in Russia might be concerned, but I think they will be asked to change the lab if possible if they received the grant (I hope so at least).

I feel sorry for Russian scientists and researchers if that is true... Why can't we human beings stop fighting/war and just live in peace on earth, that's frustrating
Exactly.. We can fight for MSCA PF instead :D

Seek! how huge is the understanding to not involve ordinary people, the nation, in stupid political decisions and desires all around the world! We've got just modern by its title...
