Very true. I truly hope people stop trolling just for the sake of it. Not fair to anyone and especially when everyone is anxious.
I subscribe to this. But maybe NCP didn't mean to troll, probably NCP just forgot to specify... And killed us all
Anyway, just to clarify: there may be delays beyond the EC control. They surely struggle to get things done in time. On several occasions they have sent the ESR one month before the stated date. But it also happened that they took 1 week longer. Like I said, if remote experts drop out and don't finish their IERs, those proposals must be reallocated to other experts. Also, disqualified experts may see their IERs fully invalidated; hence, all those proposals must be reallocated to other experts... And the chain goes on and on. The process is complex in itself and also complex to be coordinated.
I sincerely hope that we won't have to wait any longer. Initially, if I recall well, results were expected by the beginning of February.
Personally, I started counting the minutes since the end of January
All these details are taken into account. It is why they are supposed to finish the evaluation 2 month before we have the results.
They still have time to ask for another review.
For sure they start moving into ranking when they have all the reports and that the consensus is reached for everybody.
If not why are we (most of us) moving into ranking on the same time span (1-2 days).

Results are expected in March this year as the deadline was in October and not in September as usually.
Exactly, they always keep some buffer time. Which is why eventually they manage to send the ESR in advance (4 months instead of 5 after the submission deadline). But at some point I had read that results were expected in February (unless it was the usual killer hype...)
I also believe that the change to 'ranking' reflects the consensus being reached. But I think that at this point all the ESR are ready and the EC is slowly uploading them. And I think that this is why some of us are still in 'evaluation'.
I only hope that there have been no major setbacks during the evaluation and that they will respect the 5-months timeline.
On a side note: I have noticed that since Horizon Europe they tend to send the ESR on the exact stated date. Maybe they're tired with applicants protesting about delayed results one month before the expected date  But I hope I'm wrong, I'm really hardly waiting for these results, for my prospective post-doc.

Agreed. Here, we have hardly few hundreds. Based on this data we cant make a conclusion. The unregistered users as guests may help us know the pattern by giving us the phase change date.

Do you think 800 applicants phase changed to ranking on 1st of March? If yes then they will get.
More than that! It is an automatic process. People are not sitting there to upload results.
The panel chair upload everything in the online portal and at some point they push a button to change the phases.
It avoid multiple steps and possible multiple mistakes.
Maybe there are some mistakes and it is why some people are not moving

Guys, check the follow up section. There is no timeline e.g. submitted, informed .... Even I can not see the stamped proposal uploaded by EC

New member here. I am following the thread from 1 week.
Used the magic link when you noticed the phase change by 1st Mar.
For me, it changed to ranking in 2nd Mar.
