It is country of the host laboratory. The countries represented corresponds to the host lab for EF and the return lab for GF, so only EU countries and associated countries are indicated here. (list of associated countries https://ec.europa.eu/info/funding-tende ... tom_en.pdf )

It does not mean that nobody from Malaysia got it nor that nobody went to Malaysia with a GF last year.
