I contacted my host this morning. They just replied. They have absolutely no news, and they´re nervous as well...

What a shame to not publish the results on the Pi Day

I don't have social media accounts, but I was thinking, what if a lot of people started to send msgs or post #MSCA asking about the delay?
We have over 130 people online in this forum right now, that should stir the pot a bit...

Paradoxically, I am calmer now than I was the last week. I think the suffering was too much to my brain and it decided to chill no matter what

couldn't agree moreaspil wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 5:22 pmIt is not only about MSCA. This is a glimpse of what is in store for us. We will have to go through this loop of proposal writing -> deadlines -> submission -> painful wait for the results, again and again and again..fique86 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 5:14 pmThis is a totally understandable feeling. For me, it is the academic cultures in my country (predatory publishing, self-plagiarism, etc.) that made me want to move away from this country to Europe (although I used to be like you, wanting to move away from academia!). MSCA seems to be such an important part of our decisionmaking and it is exactly making our lives easier!

Everyone around me keeps saying that funding success is about 10% these days: to get funding once they have to write about 10 proposals. The nice thing (I think? ) is it gets easier over time as 1. you get used to reading "dear Dr. Whatever, your project was amazing and scored 120/100, however due to limiting resources it didn't pass the threshold for funding", and 2. you get better and better at writing proposals, not to mention, you get to reuse, copy and paste, and generally keep many of the fundamental aspects of your projects across various calls.
