I just recieved the following from my NCP
Please be informed that we have had to delay the announcement of the results of the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships with a view to complete an additional screening on a number of proposals. Due to the technical challenge of sending over 8,400 individual letters simultaneously, the earliest we will be able to inform applicants of the results is next week.
Oh poor MSCA. It is a "technical challenge" that happens every year and they had 6 months to figured it out.
Imagine if someone here with real technical problems - like living in a place where the infraestructure is so bad that the internet does not work - loses the deadline. Would that be considered as a "technical challenge"?

Leak is a possible thing as there are number of NCPs. NCPs have the results. Because of UK they cant share for sure. So many candidates from UK might be at higher ranking and if UK does not pay then they might be excluded. In that case the ranking will be revised. It will take more days to be solved.

Sorry if this was already asked, but which panel did you apply to?
But someone claimed to have the result from friday...trolling or a leak?
This is kind of unfair. I'm applying from the UK. If this is the case, they should have done a preliminary evaluation of the institute itself. This is what they do anyway on bigger grants but it is also kind of unfair.

You'd think by now they should have figured out how to solve this technical problem as this keeps happening every year...

The way they are handling with the delay is worse than the delay itself. As I said before, I have the feeling that they know about it for a long time, but they just didnt care to post even a tweet before the 14/3. It is unbelievable.

MSCA 2021 Scores:
Excellence: 0.5
Impact: 5.0
Implementation: 0
Final Result:
Rejection.
Haha they want us to have contingency plans if things go wrong, but apparently they don't have one themselves.
truth... now it's dealing with the consequences of the delay and resuming normal life until one day they decide to release the results...

Not exactly in Italics is the email that they received from Brussels. I saw that other NCPs have provided the same info,
so the email with the excuse was sent to every NCP.

Wow, I received something similar just now. Maybe we are going to the same country?
