ok, one last comment... to me this sentence makes it sound like they have decided to send all the decisions simultaneously ...
" Due to the technical challenge of sending around 8,400 individual letters simultaneously, the earliest we will be able to inform applicants of the results is next week. "

That's indeed an interesting possibility... and maybe a change in the system would explain why so much uncertainty about the release date.
Hopefully we'll soon find out what's going on
