I am so sorry for our friends that received the negative outcome...
I should go to sleep because tomorrow morning I start a series of exams and interviews for an assistant prof position (though my chances are quite low bc I know the competition, they're brilliant, some have 60+ papers published)...
But how can I think about going to bed now... My heart is pounding like about to flip out of my chest!

No email for me... This is my second attempt with this proposal. I was lucky five years ago to get a MSCA IF GF (I had to try three times to get it).
I am sorry for the ones that got a rejection. Especially for the ones who have tried several times... From my experience, funding or not is based on whether a proposal is better written compared with the proposals the 3 evaluators are reviewing this particular year. Best of luck to everyone!

When did you move to ranking? Did you get good feedback at least? We are here to read you if you need it

It's ok, thank you...
The change to ranking was somewhere on March 1st.
The evaluation mentioned a lot of strengths, but it seems that the excellence part got a big slash because "the idea is not novel enough"
The usual stuff just seen in many reviews... Only the reviewer knows who already did that...

Quite relative again But seal of excellence at least? did your gf get it?

Unfortunately just not enough to get the seal... But it's ok, it's mostly useless anyway

Thank you guys for sharing your results. I know it sounds cliche, but just a reminder that your work and effort is valuable and that all the work you made may not be reflected in these results, but will bear fruit in other areas for sure
