Even though this years’ call is still to be announced, I’d like to share tips and experiences from the very beginning with other candidates as in the past year
Any clue about why the call has not been yet announced?

Apparently the call will open next 22nd of June, deadline mid-october, results by march 2022...

The following was just announced.
Dates
Opening date: 22 June 2021
Deadline: 12 October 2021
Results: Earliest March 2022
2021 Budget
European Fellowship: 205.7 Million
Global Fellowship: 36.3 Million
Total: 242 Million

A lot less than last year. Competition will be crazy this time (even more)

Less budget you mean? What was the budget last year?

Less budget you mean? What was the budget last year?
This is from last year, eur 328 million in total:
Global Fellowships: EUR 55 million.
European Fellowships: EUR 263 million.
Society and Enterprise Panel: EUR 10 million.

Don't worry for budget as no. of candidates are also restricted.............................by 8 yrs of post PhD

The Global Fellowship budget has almost been halved. I doubt that 50% of previous applicants wouldn't apply because of the 8 year limit. Unless there are stats in that somewhere..
