Sad news here. Just received the rejection letter. Due to the failure of UK's association to the EU, people on the reserve list with UK hosts are ineligible.
Very disappointing. We on the reserve list with UK hosts are deprived of the opportunity to move to the main list according to the dropouts and finally be funded by the UKRI.

I'm really sorry, Morgan. Maybe you guys can contact UKRI and ask if they would consider to allocate some extra funding for people on the reserve list. I mean, quite a few countries have in place programs for Seal of Excellence recipients. And your situation is certainly special...

Oh, I am sorry for the UK applicants in the reserve list as well. I understand how frustrating may be not to be able to reach the main list due to the EU/UK non association and the politics behind that. Thank for sharing guys!

Received my rejection letter too as my host is UK-based. I was first on the reserve list of the EF-ECO panel. I can't believe my luck...
