There we go again. The call for 2022 is now open and it is about time to open a thread.

I am 4th time applicant (last two calls GF 89 and 90 points). I have been away from home long enough to be able to apply for the EF this time, I hope that makes the trick.

For those of you who are new, welcome to the madness. For the old timers, welcome back!.
Hi guys
How long does it take from the announcement of results until starting the project (or literally, making sure we got this fellowship)? what are the process, tasks and timelines after getting the results?. I read that even with getting positive results, still will be more processes to go.
Thanks
Once you get the results, there are a few more processes to complete... but unless something incredibly bad happens, if you are invited to start the grant agreement you can be sure that you got the fellowship. The next step is the grant agreement preparation and signature, but that will be done by your host institution. The starting date of the project depends on you: you can start as early as possible (I think the earliest starting date should be in May), or delay the start (i.e., if you want to finish your current work, or for any other reason). Depending on your project, there may be also additional ethics deliverables asked by your project officer that you need to complete as soon as the project starts (e.g., confirming that you have ethical clearance to do the experiments)

Hope we will all be bothered by these 'annoying' tedious processes ;)

The portal says "Grant Management Services will experience issues with the beneficiary data on Thursday, 09.02.2023, between 17:00 and 17:30, due to a Participant Register intervention."

I think we will get the results between tomorrow and Monday (13th). Fingers crossed! :P

I don't think the EC would attempt to release the results that close to the weekend, as it sometimes takes multiple days... Probably monday will be the day

Post our spreadsheet this year again for new guys
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... p=drivesdk

You may check your status by the magic link https://ec.europa.eu/research/participa ... ct/XXXXXXX and replace xxxxx with you application ID.

Refering to syntactician's post: (It's a pity that we can't pin posts on this forum. I guess we should just post the link to the spreadsheet and the magic link every two pages or so..)

Hello, How long it took from the point the magic link phase changed to the date the results were published (in 2020 or 2021). If it's been longer than 20 days, they might release it on Monday, February 20th?.

There is no a pattern in the latest years and there is no reason to expect any delay this year, I think.
