Guys, I don't want to be a spoiler but don't expect much logic from this evaluation. In my first application I wan't too good but I got a seal of excellence (86,5). I though with an improved project, better hosts and lots of help from my supervisor if not better I would score at least the same. Well, second time I got 58.4. So, this year I changed hosts again and improved the project but I know anything could happen. I could get an even worse score this time.
This shit is random and your score does not necessarily reflects the quality of your proposal, rather it is more a matter of if the person reading it was in a good day and liked it.

i did. It was a re submission, so according with the call for applications, if the score is lower than the previous year they should provide a justification for it. Never had nothing of the sort. The answer to my appeal was the usual generic explanation: the evaluation is objective and jadajadajada. I applied again just because I already had the project and hosts, but I am not getting my expectations high. It's pure luck and I'm very down on it...

This is not the first time I hear something similar, it's really demotivating. One would like to know at least the exact justification about such a significant difference between one year and another. If no reason is given, it becomes a lottery.
