Hi, one of my colleagues got an email from UKRI (UK research & innovation) regarding the Horizon Europe Guarantee Funding for MSCA-PF, stating that the selected people for MSCA-PF 2022 in UK host institution can be able to apply for guarantee funding from 28.02.2022 onwards. However, applicants need to provide the invitation which is received from EU for the grant agreement preparation (GAP) process.

Hi, as per my understanding, it may not apply to the reserve list until you will move to the main list, by dropping high-ranked candidates. However, you can email UKRI whether the reserve list candidates will be able to apply or not. Anita March from the UKRI end may give you more info regarding this.

Hi, how will it work for the selected candidates from UK? I try to mean, the selected UK candidates will not receive an invitation for Grant Agreement Preparation (GAP) from Horizon Europe until the UK & EU association agreement get formalized, or after the agreement sign for MSCA, will they be informed if the UK’s association to Horizon Europe will not apply at the planned date?
The recent update from UKRI stated that the guarantee funding for Horizon Europe will be extended for MSCA-PF 2022 (
