ERC Starting grant 2024

I think most applicants are so stressed. My skin shows how stressed I've been. I just hope they send the invitations fasters and they also communicate the rejections at the same time. I guess there will be no email this week, at least not for my panel (PE11).

This week no, they are still finishing the panel meetings. The earliest is Monday night. Someone even says April, but I don't think so. I believe next week is the week for the quickest panel. The week after for other panels.

Because of ERC stress, my anxiety level for any other area in my life skyrocketed :'(
However, forums and social media are a great comfort to me.

We just have to be patient a little longer! We can do this!

The truth is that I expected to pass... I put a lot of effort into the proposal and I believed it was really good although on the other hand I knew it was very difficult.
Next year I will pass to consolidator and I don't think my CV is up to par.

Do you have any more information? Have you only received one email? or the notification on the page? Do you know if they will tell us if we are C, B or A?

Sorry to hear that! You should get the report early May. Fundings are also about alternative solutions. You can either try improving the research plan for next year or apply forother fundings. I once got rejected by a funding agency. They said the topic wasn't important. The year after, I chose a topic no one could say is unimportant and got the funding. The acceptance rate was similar to ERC StG.

So, so far SH panel has sent the results. I'm still waiting (PE11). I was just checking what over the counter stress pill I can buy

Yes, it seems that at the moment it is only the sh panel to be communicated (by the way, the first to have the interviews planned)

Does anyone know if the A, B, C grade is communicated before the evaluation report?
