Hi everyone.

In the EF-ENG panel, there are 47 UK-hosted projects in the main list and 30 in the reserve one.
Do you know exactly what will happen with the EU budget that will be available after excluding the UK projects?
This is a good question. Does someone know for a fact that the UK projects in the main list count for the budget allocated for the panel, therefore that budget will be released to call proposals from reserve? Or since they knew that UK proposals wouldn't be funded by the EU, maybe that was taken into account since the beginning?

The EU (REA) is going to remove UK-based proposals from the reserve list. The UK-based proposal (on the reserve list) will not use EU funds but they need to be in the main list for transferring to UKRI for support. It means an additional budget for research from the UK. We (UK-based proposals on the reserve list) should be in one place and thinking and acting about the problem. Hi everybody.
Question: are the ERA fellowships already included in the main list (assigned scholarships) or are they on the reserve list and will potentially free up a place?

Are these scholarships already assigned?
PS: As example, last year were 20 of EF-LIF and 11 of EF-SOC ERA fellowships assigned

Thanks!

The last two years it was re-assigned to the projects in the reserve list, with the exception of the Uk based proposals. Hard to imagine another upshot

Hi all,

A quick question for you folks: is it possible to resubmit our proposal with the same host institution for the next intake (2024 submission, 2025 starting date) if I would have lived for more than 12 months in the country of host institution in the past 36 months?

To be more exact, in my case, by the time of 2024 submission, I would have lived in NL for 19 months already, and this year I got my reserve list with a Dutch institution.

Thanks!

I think that would be pretty unlikely... there's Dutch funding you can apply to (I don't know of anything where the SOE is useful, unfortunately. and Veni is even more competitive than marie curie...) or apply together with your host for non-individual funding.

Thanks!...Yeah I confirmed this with my NCP and the mobility requirement prevails in this case.
